Nationalparkzentrum Ruhestein

The Ruhestein, situated at around 900 meters above sea level, is the ideal starting point for an initial exploration of the Black Forest National Park with children.

After a visit to the National Park Center team, you can conclude your day well-informed with a short hike through the National Park on your own. Additionally, at Ruhestein, many events and guided tours commence, and you can participate in them after prior online registration.

With the new interactive exhibition on the increasingly wild forest, a cinema, the Wilderness Bridge, a shop, and a café, the new National Park Center will become an additional and exciting destination for families amidst the beautiful nature of the Northern Black Forest – even in inclement weather.
